Kettlebells training was made popular by the Soviets during the Olympics of the 70′s and 80′s. Recently, this challenging and demanding regimen has been re-energized and has found an elite following in the States. Used by many celebrities for a full body workout and by athletes as a compliment to their normal workout regimen, Kettlebells can be manipulated for both resistance and aerobic training.
This unique exercise regimen is only taught in select locations in the Bay area. Master Kettlebells Instructors Gregg Althen and Kerry Kriener-Althen lead the group through a very disciplined and comprehensive program. When used correctly, Kettlebells deliver strength, endurance and flexibility while integrating strength and cardio workouts.
